Auckland Schools’ Debating (ASD) is responsible for promoting debating in secondary schools across the Auckland region in order to promote free speech and thought. ASD organises New Zealand’s largest debating competition, and In 2024 we had 354 teams from 58 schools across Auckland.
The organisation is run by a committee consisting of experienced members of the debating community with the advice of teachers from across Auckland.
